Chest wall tumor removal with resection of X-XII ribs and diaphragm.
Female 57 yo. Left hemicolectomy with splenectomy and pancreatic tail resection in 2012 due to colon adenocarcinoma T4N0M0. 3 cycles of adjuvant chemotherapy in 2012. The patient had notised pain in left chest wall since february 2014. It was not revealed any changes on chest X-ray examination. In december 2014 chest CT revealed tumor of left chest wall with destruction of XI, XII ribs. Biopsy with immunohistochemistry showed metastasis of colorectal adenocarcinoma. Patient was consulted and admitted in the department of thoracic surgery in janjuary 2015. During wall reconstruction we decided to abstain usage of foreing materials to reduce complications and to avoid delay of adjuvant treatment.
